Considerable research went into the creative development of both the Quills! and Prairie Prose game series, including historical references that helped construct an imaginative context that was both socially engaging and well suited to cooperative play.  

The unique style of gameplay evolved from earlier concept games that were play tested by encouraging colleagues, supportive friends and family–and also by willing educators within classroom settings.  

The result is an interconnected, poetic, theatrical and literary game world meant for fans and newcomers to classic works that inspire the playful nature of the human spirit.
